SolarWhite is for natural teeth and whitens by removing stains, not “adding” whitening. Teeth cannot get whiter then they were when the permanent teeth came in, or in the case of synthetic tooth structures, when they were installed.
Tingling or slight gum sensitivity is normal and not harmful to gums or enamel. For people with sensitive gums, lightly coat the gums and lip area with petroleum jelly prior to treatment, being careful not to get any on the teeth.
Blanching (or whitening) of the gums is common and normal. It is a temporary reaction due to the antiseptic nature of hydrogen peroxide and not harmful to teeth or gums.
Limit individuals to 2 consecutive treatments within 24 hours.
Important: For 24 hrs following a SolarWhite treatment, avoid consuming anything that would stain a white shirt!

SolarWhite Procedure
- Clean teeth using the Fresh Ups Deep Cleaning Teeth Wipes provided with your kit. Slip wipe on index finger with colored side toward your palm. Lightly scrub your teeth and gums with the blue textured side of the wipe. You are now ready to apply your whitening treatment.
- Remove the mouthpiece from its sealed package carefully. The foam pads already contain the whitening gel.
- Insert the mouthpiece, ensuring your teeth are pressed firmly against the pads. To distribute the gel evenly and form a custom fit, press the mouthpiece firmly against your teeth for 5 seconds. When properly placed, your lips will be over the outside of the mouthpiece. Direct Sunlight: Recline in direct sunlight to activate gel. Expose mouthpiece to sunlight for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove tray. DO NOT EXCEED 20 MINUTES IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Tanning Bed or Booth: Expose mouthpiece to tanning lamps for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove Tray. DO NOT EXCEED 10 MINUTES UNDER LAMPS.
- Rinse mouth with water and use a second Fresh Up to remove excess gel from your teeth.
- Complete your SolarWhite treatment with the Oral Finishing Rinse provided. Swish Finishing Rinse in your mouth for a full 90 seconds to maximize the results of your SolarWhite treatment.
- Discard used mouthpiece in proper waste container. It is only good for one SolarWhite Treatment.
